General grabber atx noise1/20/2024 So lemme sum it up: you had this tires for 2 weeks, only drove them on the road and you are happy and you like the looks. So overall, I'm pretty much totally satisfied with them. The wet and dry traction seems excellent. My offroading consists of driving on gravel forest service roads in the mountains so I'll probably never be able to fully appreciate what they can do in that respect. Unfortunately, I haven't been offroad so I can't offer an opinion on that. The tread reminds me of the KO2's and the sidewall is aggressive which is something I really wanted. After that though they're a smooth as I could ask for. Responsive handling on wet and dry roads. Developed for year-round traction, this tire comes complete with Duragen Technology, which provides enhanced durability. With comfort balance technology, the tire features an extra layer under the durable upper tread. Grabber ATx is a very comfortable tire with very minimal noise and smooth drive. Also, the subjective score for snow handling favors the General Grabber A/TX with a score of 5.29/10 versus the Falken’s 4.83/10. Its lap time in snow is quicker at 71.50 compared to the Falken’s 72.40. The only complaint I have, which is very minor, is if it sits a couple of days they tend to flat spot a little so the first mile or so down the road is a little bumpy. The Grabber HTS60 is a long-lasting, all-season touring tire for light trucks and SUVs. On road, the General Grabber’s older variant the AT2 was already better and with this newer model they improved it further. The General Grabber A/TX comes out ahead once more. On the road there's barely any noticeable difference between them and the Geolanders. The ride of the 4Runner also softened up a bit on the highway and city roads. They are slightly louder than the Geolander street tires that they replaced but still very quiet for an A/T tire. But at closer inspection, the tread voids and tread depth look like they will do a decent job at evacuating mud as long as you have them. The Grabber ATX tires also come with a larger lug pattern than the Bridgestone tires at 14/32 compared to 11/32 of the stock Duelers. When I first got them put on I had a vibration at about 60 mph but after they rebalanced them they're nice and smooth. As some of you know I just got a set of the Grabber ATX's installed and after driving it for a couple of weeks I thought I'd share my opinion of them in case anyone is interested.
